Welcome to Stepping Stanes Youth Cycling Club.
Stepping Stanes is a youth cycle coaching club based in Dumfries, Scotland. We run cycle coaching designed for young riders age. 8-12. Our aim is to improve bike skills within a safe and fun environment. When we decided to set the age range at 8 - 12 it was so that there would not be too much disparity in abilities. We hope that once the club is more established again and we have more people trained as coaches then we will be able to lower the age range to cater for younger riders.
If you want to come along and try a couple of sessions please contact our chairperson Fiona Walker (email@example.com ) before attending.
We will be meeting at the David Keswick Centre every Wednesday starting at 6pm to 7.30 (we meet down on the athletics track). This is a great facility and we can continue our coaching over the winter months. The David Keswick centre do charge us for the use of the athletics track so there will be a cost of £2 per rider.
Our facebook group is now up and running. Find us at "steppingstanes" and click to join our group. We will use this to help communicate and its a way for you to tell us what your kids like best at our sessions.
